Wayland, RHU, has volunteered and served his industry as past President of the North Orange County Life Underwriters, Executive Vice President of the Orange County Health Underwriters, Director of the California Association of Health Underwriters and Board Trustee of the California Association of Life and Financial Advisors. In addition, John is a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), the designation attained in conjunction with Northeastern University of Boston. John has addressed trade associations and authored numerous articles on the subject of Employee Benefits and the process of providing creative, innovative plan designs and excellence in service to corporate clients. He graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in business administration and history.  When he isn't working, Sean is very active in his church and leads mission trips to Door of Faith Orphanage in Ensenada, Mexico.
